There are several reasons a person hires a life coach such as life changes, career changes, re-evaluating one's life and goals, or just to re-organize your life. People from all walks of life hires a life coach from the successful executive, down to the young person just starting their career journey. A life coach can help in your job, home, or personal life. If you want to improve your situation then you would want a life coach.
A life coach is not someone to solve your problems, a life coach helps you achieve the tools enabling you to find solutions. There are no quick fixes in life, and you must be willing to do the work required to achieve your goals. Life Coaching is not therapy, and should not replace therapy by a professional health care provider.

Life coaching sessions are conducted on a weekly or bi-monthly basis, and are usually conducted on the phone, or by video conferencing. Current technology makes it possible for me to work with clients all over the United States. Face to face sessions are also available if needed. During your life coaching sessions we will work on your goals, overcome obstacles, and track your progress. Each session will last 30 - 45 mins. It is important to stay focused during the session to keep within the allocated time. Your first call or visit will be considered 2 sessions and will last 1.5 hours. During this time we will evaluate the goals you wish to achieve, define obstacles, and work on your action plan.
Session packages can be purchased in blocks of 4 & 8 sessions for a discounted rate. It is advisable to purchase the coaching packages to solidify your comment and stay on track with your goals. Individual session payments must be paid the Sunday prior to your session to reserve your scheduled coaching session. Sessions can be made by PayPal or by check. If paying by check please give time for the check to clear prior to your scheduled session. $35 service charge is applied to returned checks. Cancellation policy applies.
ADHD Coaching
NOTE: ADHD Coaching does not replace your present treatment. ADHD Coaching works best with your current treatment and drug therapy. Do not end your current treatment or stop taking medication without first discussing it with your doctor.
Adult ADHD(attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder), also known as ADD, is one of the most common problems adults face today affecting an estimated 12 million adults (Center for Disease Control). ADHD is a childhood developmental problem, that left untreated, will cause problems in adulthood. A person with Adult ADHD might have problems maintaining a stable work history, problems managing money, problems maintaining relationships, and have problems in education. An adult with ADHD might also have problems with addiction, legal issues, traffic accidents, and trouble controlling their temper. A person with ADHD does not exhibit every symptom, or experience every problem associated with ADHD. Some patients might have mild ADHD, while other might have severe ADHD with severe impairments. With proper treatment and ADHD coaching ADHD can be managed.

- Physical restlessness or hyperactivity
- Excessive impulsivity; saying or doing things without thinking

People with ADHD can also have co-existing conditions as well. Some co-existing conditions associated with ADHD include mood disorders such as depression, disruptive behavior disorder, anxiety disorder, tic disorder (also known as Tourette's), and learning disorders. When talking to your health care provider it is important to mention these disorders during your evaluation.
ADHD is a childhood disorder, meaning if you have ADHD as an adult then you had ADHD in your childhood. During your evaluation your medical provider will evaluate symptoms you might have exhibited in childhood, your school performance and grades, disciplinary problems in school, and problems you had with peers or making friends. Your evaluator might also look into your family medical history, home life as a child, and habits your mother might had during pregnancy such a smoking or drinking. During your examination you will be evaluated for ADHD as well as other neurological illness to make the best diagnosis and to prescribe the correct treatment. Since ADHD is a childhood disorder it is important to have as much information about your childhood history ready for your medical provider. AD/HD coaching helps the AD/HD client to become better organized, and learn how to overcome the obstacles of AD/HD. AD/HD coaching is a specialized form of life coaching designed to deal with the special needs of the AD/HD client. In AD/HD coaching you will learn ways to manage AD/HD in your everyday life instead of AD/HD controlling your life.
As your AD/HD Coach we will work on ways to improve your organization skills, set goals and reach them, increase self-awareness, and improve time management. AD/HD coaching will help improve your life at home, work, and school. AD/HD Coaching does not replace your current treatment with your health care provider, but with the feedback you receive in your coaching sessions you will be able to track your progress and communicate with your health care provider more efficiently.
In order for ADHD coaching to work you must be willing to be honest about your progress and struggles you experience, be able to take constructive criticism, do assigned work, and be committed to the coaching process.
